Dear Children’s Center Community,
I am writing this email to apologize for a blog post that was mistakenly included in our monthly newsletter this afternoon regarding the treatment of transgendered youth. The blog post was sent out in error. We recognize and understand that this is a topic that many have varying and strong opinions on.
We understand that for some, the opinions reflected in the post can be hurtful and can cause significant distress to the transgendered youth and their families who are seeking our services. As a children’s therapy practice, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all of our clients, regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, or any other characteristic.
As mental health professionals, we have a responsibility to stay informed about the latest research and recommendations in our field to provide the highest quality care for our clients. We are committed to ongoing education and training to ensure that we are providing the most up-to-date and best treatment to all of our clients.
We apologize again for any upset that we may have caused by mistakenly sharing this blog article. We appreciate your continued support and trust in our practice, and we remain committed to providing the best possible care to all of our clients.
